Final conference of the project “Promotion of Social Dialogue in the Republic of Macedonia”
The closing conference of the project “Promotion of Social Dialogue” was held in Skopje on March 31, 2017, organized by the Office of the European Union (EU), which has been implemented by the International Labor Organization for the past two and a half years.
The conference was attended by representatives of the partner institutions and organizations that were involved in the implementation of the Project, including the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia, Organization of Employers of Macedonia, Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Macedonia, the Union of Independent and Autonomous Trade Unions and the Business Confederation of Macedonia. Also, the project manager mr. Milan Petkovski and PR officer, Andrijana Zafirovska has followed this event.
The three important components of this project are: to strengthen social dialogue at national and local level, to establish infrastructure and encourage collective bargaining, and to establish effective mechanisms for the peaceful resolution of labor disputes.
