“Macedonian Occupational Safety and Health Association” as a Collaborating Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO / CIS) in collaboration with “National Council for Safety and Health at Work” celebrated 28thof April, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
Theme of this year’s celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work was “Workplace sress: A Collective Challenge.”
The celebration of the World Day was attended by representatives of public institutions, civil society organizations, social partners, educational institutions, media.
The event started with a public debate on accidents, injuries and deaths at work in Macedonia, where the MOSHA report of accidents, injuries and deaths at work in 2015 was presented. In the central part of the event were awarded National Awards for good OSH practice 2015 for small, medium and large companies.
Project officer, Slavica Jankova, during the weekend promoted the project “Increasing capacities and strengthening of the role of the regional CSOs for improvement of the labor conditions and dialogue with Public Institutions”.
Project manager, Mr. Milan Petkovski presented the vision and activities within the project that will follow in the next period.
